A roadshow of CLARIAH-AT-funded DH projects took place in the context of the CLARIAH-AT Summerschool in Salzburg in autumn 2024. It covered an interdisciplinary range of applications of digital humanities methods.
Thanks to the Transkribus tool, the participants of the CLARIAH-AT Summer School were able to try out basic techniques of digital source-criticism and analysis on the inventories of Fortress Hohensalzburg and got acquainted with the digital workflow.
The conference will cover a range of topics, incl. the design, construction & operation of the CLARIN infrastructure, the data, tools & services that it contains or should contain, its actual use by researchers, teachers or interested parties, its relation to other infrastructures & projects, and the CLARIN Knowledge Infrastructure.
The event featured four panels spanning two half-days, covering a range of diverse topics such as collections as data & especially newspapers as datasets, artificial intelligence and its applications in libraries.
