In addition to the Austrian resources catalogue, CLARIN-ERIC and DARIAH-EU offer further services for research and learning:
Austrian contributions for language-related research and education can be explored through the CLARIN Virtual Language Observatory (VLO).
The CLARIN Federated Content Search (FCS) enables researchers to search for specific patterns across collections of data, i.e. a search engine that connects to the local text collections that are available in the CLARIN centres. The search engine summarises and displays what is available, no login is required. The data itself stays at the centre where it is hosted – which is why the underlying technique is called federated content search. An easy next step is to go to the CLARIN centre's specialised search interface to perform a more sophisticated query.
The CLARIN Learning Resources Catalogue features open educational materials created within the CLARIN community for university teaching, training, and workshops.
The CLARIN Resource Families provide an accessible overview of language resources in the CLARIN infrastructure, organised by data type and relevant to research in the digital humanities, social sciences, and human language technologies.
The Social Sciences and Humanities Open Marketplace is a discovery portal which pools and contextualises resources for Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) research communities: tools, services, training materials, datasets, publications and workflows. The Marketplace highlights and showcases solutions and research practices for every step of the SSH research data life cycle.
“Transformations. A DARIAH Journal” is a multilingual publication with thematic annual issues in Digital Humanities, humanities, social sciences, and the arts. The journal is particularly interested in the use of digital tools, methods, and resources in a reproducible approach. It welcomes scientific contributions on collections of data, workflows and software analysis and prioritises the integrity, reproducibility and sustainability of research practices in the arts and humanities.
DARIAH Campus is both a discovery framework and a hosting platform for DARIAH and DARIAH-affiliated offerings in training and education. It brings together directly hosted innovative original training resources and contextually catalogued training resources that exist elsewhere within the DARIAH network and beyond, all of which can be reused by academics in the community to create bespoke training. DARIAH-Campus also offers 'pathfinders', a curated discussion of resources related to a specific area, and the 'captured events' tool, sustaining training events for future use.
The CLARIN/DARIAH Digital Humanities Course Registry (DHCR) offers a map-based search environment that gives access to a database that contains information on Digital Humanities courses. It currently covers a selection of DH courses offered by European academic organisations and beyond. Students, lecturers and researchers can search the database on the basis of topographical information (location), ECTS credits or the academic degrees that are awarded.
