Under the theme „Sprache/Macht/Daten – Digitales Kulturerbe öffnen und vernetzen“ (“Language/Power/Data – Opening up and Connecting Digital Cultural Heritage”), we warmly invite you to the Stakeholder Forum 2026:
The focus is on how interconnected knowledge can unleash its transformative power – for research, education and society.
Participants may look forward to three high-profile keynote speeches:
- Sarah Kenderdine (EPFL Lausanne) will demonstrate how museums are using new technologies such as VR, AI and data visualisation responsibly.
- Clemens Apprich (die Angewandte) will take a critical look at how digital infrastructures shape power relations and cultural practices.
- Sören Auer (TIB Hannover) explains how Linked Open Data sustainably connects and makes cultural heritage accessible.
The programme is complemented by numerous Lightning Talks from the Kulturpool Community, workshops and discussion forums. Together we will discuss:
- How can cultural institutions fulfil their responsibilities in the digital sphere?
- What data and infrastructure are needed for sustainable networking?
- And how can digital resources be used responsibly?
