Guest lecture by Nikola Ljubešić from the Jožef Stefan Institute (Ljubljana, Slovenia) on “Multilingual NLP can shed light on many secrets of parliamentary Proceedings” in the University Course Applied NLP Tools for Digital Humanities at the University of Vienna , in cooperation with the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities of the Austrian Academy of Sciences on 19th January 2026 on 13:15.
Nikola will talk about the ParlaMint dataset, multilingual comparable and interoperable pariamentary corpora, as well as the application of multilingual NLP in the ParlaCAP and ParlaSent Project.
Finally, he will touch also upon CLARIN , CLARIN.si and the CLARIN K-Centre CLASSLA .
